In our recent webinar, the CEO of 3STEPS4WARD, Douglas Younger III, discusses why fundraising needs to be a way of life for entrepreneurs. Because money can be a tricky subject, most people overestimate how much they know about their options and underestimate the value of doing their homework. So if you can go into the terms of most private equity deals and how they differ from venture capitalist contracts, you can skip this one.

This thought-provoking session covers:

  • Financial literacy and planning
  • Credit ratings
  • Business structure
  • Private equity
  • SBA loans
  • Grants
  • SBDC opportunities
  • Crowdfunding
  • Donor management

About the Presenter

Douglas Younger III of 3STEPS4WARD.

Douglas Younger III was humming along nicely in the corporate world, climbing every rung with aplomb. When his father passed away, he found himself asking some of the tougher questions in life. After realizing he didn’t want to spend his life making someone else rich, he started his own marketing company, 3STEPS4WARD in 2020.

Like the company’s name implies, Younger’s enterprise is committed to helping clients move past some of the more difficult problems they face. More than that, he’s committed to making a difference in the world. In Younger’s opinion, the motivation of money can only keep a business going for so long. He encourages people to set their sights on the bigger purpose of solving a problem. To date, he’s helped dozens of clients understand more about who exactly they’re targeting and what benefits they can offer them.

Despite the many challenges of the entrepreneur’s life, Younger doesn’t regret his choices. What’s more, he wants to share the joys and struggles of his career with everyone who wants to get ahead in their professional life. On his podcast, Twist of Fate, he interviews people who have made major leaps in their career and how they managed to navigate the uncertain roads ahead.
