Startup Happy Hour
Startup founders do not have to figure it all out alone. Startup Happy Hour gives Sacramento founders, entrepreneurs, and innovators a relaxed space to connect, ask questions, and learn from people who have been through the startup journey before.
Hosted monthly by StartupSac in partnership with the Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Sacramento State, Startup Happy Hour brings the community together for real conversations, practical advice, and meaningful connections.
What Is Startup Happy Hour?
Startup Happy Hour is a monthly meetup held at local bars, restaurants, and breweries throughout the Sacramento region. Each event features an experienced founder, investor, or startup leader who joins us for a casual Ask Me Anything conversation.
It is part networking, part founder education, and part community-building.
The Goal
The goal is to help early-stage entrepreneurs gain insight, feedback, and encouragement from experienced startup leaders while building stronger connections across Sacramento’s startup community.
The Format
We keep it simple and approachable:
Guests arrive, grab a drink or bite, and meet other founders. Then we move into a casual Ask Me Anything conversation with our featured guest, followed by more time to connect.
All founders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and startup-curious community members are welcome.
