There’s been lots of recognition of Sacramento region startups in the local news the last couple of weeks. The Sacramento Business Journal’s annual Inno Under 25 highlights entrepreneurs and technologists under the age of 25 in the our region’s innovation community. StartupSac Warm-Up Pitch Results

In StartupSac’s Warm-Up Pitch competition last week, there was a tie for first place between Adload Technologies, presented by vice president of business development, Dustin Cox, and Core Impact, presented by founder and CEO, Samuel Taylor. Second place went to FlightLine Technologies, presented by founder and CEO, Donny Malinoff. This “mock” investor pitch wasn’t open to the public. It was the culminating event of StartupSac’s 4-week cohort where nine startups received coaching on how to pitch to investors. You can learn more about the winning companies here.

Update: Deadline Extended for Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy!

SEA has extended the application deadline for its 2023 cohort to December 20. SEA is the longest running entrepreneurship training program in the Sacramento area, providing training, mentorship and a network of support from experienced professional since 1986. This hands-on entrepreneurship program will meet in person on Saturday mornings starting January 14, 2023 and conclude on May 6, 2023. Application deadline is December 20. Learn more here.
