This Week’s Best Bets

Wednesday, April 17, during the lunch hour, learn how to avoid the top ten legal mistakes startup companies make at a presentation at Greenberg Traurig by attorney Michelle Rowe Hallsten. It’s just $12 to attend and that includes lunch. Get tickets.

Also on Wednesday, but in the morning, 1 Million Cups at the Metro Chamber will feature a presentation from Japa, the winner of this year’s Kings Capitalize $10,000 prize!  RSVP

Plan Ahead

If you’re a tech startup, the must-attend event in Sacramento is TechEdge, happening Wednesday, April 24. Yes, it’s pricey but the leaders in the tech industry and the decision makers and “check books” in our region will be there. It’s a half-day plus conference happening at the Sheraton downtown. There will be panels and speakers, including an investor panel on getting funded. We can make the admission price a little less painful — use promo code “SBJTechEdge” for 20% off. Get tickets.

1 Million Cups will be back in Folsom at Granite City Coworking on Wednesday morning, April 24. It’s free to attend but your RSVP will help us figure out how much coffee to brew! RSVP
