Best Practices for Entrepreneurs – Raising Funds from Investors

Starting a business requires capital. Many startup founders exhaust their own capital resources and look to outside investors to raise money to launch and grow their business. At December’s Startup Grind Sacramento event, active angel investor John Selep covered the basics of what startup founders need to know when looking to raise funds for their startup.

In this informative webinar John covered what the different types of startups are, the financial reality of a startup’s journey, phases of the startup journey, types of funding sources, understanding the different types of investors, structuring an investment, term sheets and deal terms, and much more.
