You’ve likely had a digital health experience, maybe your first ever, over the last 8 months. Adoption and implementation of digital healthcare technologies is exploding due to pandemic-related limitations on in-person meetings. If you’re interested in learning more about this phenomenon, the third and final installment of StartupSac’s SUTL Showcase 2020, Digital Health & Life Sciences, is this Thursday from 1-5 PM. The webinar event will feature a keynote address by Dr. Khuram Arif of Western Health Advantage on The Future of Healthcare in a Post-COVID-19 World and an update on Aggie Square, a new innovation hub being built in Sacramento. A panel will explore how digital healthcare is enabling the doctor and the patient to have a much richer interaction and improve patients lives. Then my favorite part–presentations from 10 local innovative companies in the digital health, medtech and healthcare life science industries. I hope you can attend! Learn more.

Also happening this week is the Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy’s Annual Showcase spotlighting the 2020 SEA Fellows. It’s happening online, this Thursday at 3 pm and includes an Interactive Q&A with keynote speaker and SEA Alumnus Dustin DeVan as he comes off his $275 million acquisition by Autodesk. Learn more.
