Artificial intelligence is changing the way new businesses are built. Tasks that once required large development teams or months of work can now be accomplished much faster with the right tools and process. While AI makes building easier, creating a successful business still starts with understanding a real problem and the people experiencing it.

The Roseville AI Native Startup Accelerator was created to help entrepreneurs, small business owners, professionals, and innovators learn that process while exploring how AI can support product development.

Organized by HUMANBULB at Roseville Venture Lab, this eight week program combines entrepreneurship training, customer discovery, market validation, and hands on product development. Participants work through the steps of taking an idea, or even just an interesting problem, and turning it into a working AI powered prototype.

No coding experience is required.

Start With the Problem

Many people interested in entrepreneurship focus on finding the perfect idea. In reality, successful businesses are often built by identifying a meaningful problem first and then developing a solution that people find valuable.

Throughout the accelerator, participants will learn how to interview potential customers, test assumptions, and evaluate opportunities before investing significant time into building a product. This process helps founders make more informed decisions while gaining a better understanding of the market they hope to serve. Learn more and apply here.

Learn Through Building

The accelerator combines entrepreneurship education with practical product development.

Over eight weeks, participants will move through every stage of building an AI native startup. You’ll identify promising opportunities, interview potential customers, evaluate competitors, define your market position, and build a minimum viable product using modern AI tools.

The curriculum includes:

  • Founder direction and AI opportunity discovery
  • Customer discovery interviews
  • Problem validation
  • Market positioning
  • MVP planning
  • AI powered product development
  • Product refinement
  • Showcase preparation

Rather than spending the program listening to lectures, participants will actively apply what they learn to their own ideas and projects.

Two Tracks for Every Experience Level

Not everyone comes into the program with the same technical background, which is why the accelerator offers two learning tracks.

Track A: AI Native Founder Track is designed for entrepreneurs, professionals, consultants, and small business owners with little or no coding experience. Participants learn how to use AI tools to design workflows, build prototypes, and test business ideas without writing code.

Track B: AI Builder Track is designed for technical founders, engineers, developers, product managers, and experienced AI users. This track focuses on advanced AI architecture, intelligent workflows, agent design, scalable systems, and AI native business models.

Both tracks share the same goal: helping participants build a working product that solves a real customer problem.

What You’ll Walk Away With

By the conclusion of the accelerator, participants will work toward developing:

  • A validated business opportunity
  • Customer discovery insights
  • Competitive market research
  • A working AI powered prototype
  • A demo ready product
  • A roadmap for future development
  • A polished presentation for the Product Validation Showcase

The showcase gives participants the opportunity to present their work to entrepreneurs, business leaders, ecosystem partners, and community stakeholders while opening the door to pilot projects, partnerships, and future business opportunities.
