Last week, StartupSac cofounder Jeff Bennett got busy creating and publishing a brand new version of our Sacramento Startup and Innovation Ecosystem Diagram. He’s up to version 5 and this latest rendition has a whole new look! We depend on feedback from you to keep the diagram up to date. Let us know if we’ve missed something or if a correction is needed.   Learn more about v5 here.

Back in October, The City of Sacramento solicited applications to participate in its first Economic Gardening 2.0 program. The program is for established companies that have five to 99 employees and $1 million to $50 million in revenues. Last week they announced the seven companies for the first cohort. Among the seven is Trifecta Nutrition, a mover and shaker in our startup community. Greg Connolly, CEO, was one of our first AMA guests for StartupSac Happy Hour back in 2017 and then again in January last year. You can learn more about the program and the other six companies selected here.
