There’s a new resource in town for entrepreneurs! Last week, the MetroBusiness Center launched. The center supports small and mid-size businesses in starting, growing, and succeeding. It offers guidance, direction, and resources through services including specialized educational opportunities and individualized consulting. There is no cost to use the services of the Center. And while not new, it might be new to you, the California Capital Women’s Business Center also provides free business start-up and development assistance for small business owners, with a commitment to meet the unique needs of women entrepreneurs and women in business.
Other free business development resources to check out are Capital Corridor SCORE, where volunteers provide education and mentoring to help entrepreneurs create new businesses and small business owners take their existing business to the next level; and the Sacramento Valley SBDC, which provides comprehensive and expert guidance on issues such as start-up basics, financing, business and marketing plan development, exporting, technology advising, procurement and government contracting.
