In celebration of Capital Region Business Week, StartupSac and the Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship are organizing another Mentor Sacramento Sprint on Wednesday, May 4 from noon to 1:30 PM. At last year’s event, nearly 50 entrepreneurs participated and close to 150 mentoring sessions were held!

Mentor Sacramento Sprint is an opportunity for early-stage entrepreneurs to receive expert advice to tackle persistent issues with their ventures as well as make connections with Sacramento region advisors. The format is similar to speed dating but the match-ups are between entrepreneurs and mentors.

During Mentor Sacramento Sprint, entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to meet with three expert mentors, investors, advisors, subject matter experts, and/or experienced entrepreneurs in 15-minute sprint sessions. During each session. entrepreneurs will share details about their company and ask mentors for advice. Entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to get expert feedback quickly and from a variety of sources and backgrounds – something that is rare to find in just 90 minutes.

The goal of Mentor Sacramento Sprint is to further connect entrepreneurs and mentors and to introduce Mentor Sacramento as a go-to platform for ongoing mentor connections. An application is required for entrepreneurs to reserve a spot in the Mentor Sacramento Sprint event during Capital Region Small Business Week.
