Mark your calendar! Your last chance for startup Holiday fun is the Startup Expo’s Ugly Christmas Sweater Party at Hacker Lab on Monday, December 18 from 6:30-9:00 pm. Beg, borrow or steal the ugliest festive attire you can find and then show up with your favorite beverage in hand to share with a new friend! If you haven’t yet attended a Startup Expo, it’s a fun, informal affair for everyone in our startup community.

Still have gifts to buy? Check out UPcyclePOP Holiday Market! This 4-day extravaganza starts Thursday and features upcycled items by Sacramento artists that will blow your mind! Free to the public with free parking. Remake, play, shop, eat and get creative!

On a side note, Jeff and I are honored to announce that we were awarded the Outstanding Regional Contribution Award for 2017 from the Greater Sacramento Economic Council. It’s our passion and pleasure to serve the startup ecosystem in Sacramento and you are all a part of that! You can view a fancy picture of us and read our acceptance speech here.
