Startup Grind Sacramento in partnership with Startup Folsom is hosting an online workshop on how to start a food startup or restaurant. Our guest speaker, MealPro Founder and CEO, Andy Sartori, will discuss the steps needed to open a food startup or restaurant.  Join us online for this is a virtual event on Friday, February 10, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

About the Speaker

Andy Sartori, a UC Santa Cruz alumnus, started out in 2013 as a digital marketing specialist delivering consulting services to Silicon Valley enterprises. Recognizing the growth potential of the meal preparation industry, in 2018 he launched MealPro as a vertically integrated direct-to-consumer food establishment in the Sacramento metropolitan area. His targets were busy professionals nationwide who wanted to enhance their lifestyle with nutrition, hence his call-out “eat with purpose”. Through agile operations and state-of-the-art automation, MealPro was able to offer extensive customizations on their meals. Through his real estate investment arm, Sartori Holdings LLC, he purchased an 18,000 sqft facility in Citrus Heights, CA, with some of the most advanced equipment for the food industry. Andy was honored as a Sacramento 40 under 40 by the Sacramento Business Journal. He was also featured on KFBK Radio, The Sentinel, Citrus Heights Messenger, The Santa Cruz Sentinel, and more.
