On October 27, 2022, the Growth Factory celebrated the graduation of their first cohort (GF1) at a private event at their location in Rocklin. In addition to the thirteen GF1 companies, Growth Factory staff and dozens of program mentors attended the festivities.
The Growth Factory is a nonprofit startup accelerator and an accompanying early-stage venture fund building a Backyard Advantage – the uniting of Sacramento’s most innovative, committed, and successful leaders to rally around the most promising startup founders and help them succeed. Members of Cohort 1 met weekly for one year and received training and mentorship.
“We are grateful for the mentors in our community who provide both their time and expertise in developing the startups in this cohort,” stated Monique Brown, the Growth Factory’s managing director. “We are so proud of Cohort 1’s hard work and dedication.”
