In building up the entrepreneurial and innovation community in Folsom, one of the missing elements is mentorship and support. Within the Granite City Coworking community, there is a program called Founders Roundtable where company founders meet monthly and discuss problems they’re encountering. The program has been very successful in providing support and mentorship.
Startup Folsom is replicating the Founders Roundtable program and offering it to the public. We’re calling it Founders Anonymous; it’s essentially a support group for entrepreneurs. This support session will be facilitated by serial entrepreneur Matthew Loughran and Granite City Coworking Owner Kyle Middleton. In addition, there will be experienced entrepreneurs that will attend and be able to provide meaningful advice.
This first session is scheduled for Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at 11 AM at Granite City Coworking. It’s free (we would appreciate donations to help pay for lunch) to attend but space is extremely limited. You can register for it here.
