Early last week I learned that Founder Institute was exploring bringing their program here in Sacramento. Founder Institute is a premier idea-stage accelerator & startup launch program for entrepreneurs. After a little digging I learned that one of the people behind the effort to bring it here was Mariah Lichtenstern. Mariah is the founder of a startup, Cineshares, a motion picture marketplace to connect filmakers and stakeholders, and she’s also co-founder and Managing Director at DivereCity Ventures, an impact-oriented micro-VC firm.

In this latest episode of the StartupSac podcast I met with Mariah at the offices of Newmark Cornish & Carey to chat about the program and upcoming events. Check out the video below for details about the programming and upcoming events, including the first event on Tuesday, May 30 – Making the Leap from Employee to Entrepreneur in Sacramento. You can also scroll down to listen to or download the audio only version of the interview.
