Launch Your Food Business with Roseville Rising

If you are passionate about food and ready to grow your idea into a real business, the Roseville Rising Food Founders program may be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. This free 10-week training series, hosted by the City of Roseville and Growth Factory, is designed for new and early-stage food entrepreneurs. Whether you are still in the idea stage or generating under $100,000 in annual revenue, this program will give you the tools to build a sustainable food business from the ground up.

What You’ll Learn

Participants will walk through all the key steps involved in launching and managing a food venture. The weekly sessions cover topics such as branding and concept development, crafting your menu, sourcing ingredients, financial planning, permits and regulations, and designing your space. You’ll also explore hiring, team building, and strategies for successfully opening and growing a food business.

Each session includes expert instruction and guest speakers who bring real-world insight from the food industry. Weekly hands-on exercises ensure participants leave with practical takeaways they can immediately apply.

The program runs Tuesdays from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Roseville Venture Lab, starting July 15 and ending with a public showcase and tasting event on September 23. You must be able to attend at least 9 of the 10 sessions and the final showcase to participate.
