Startup Happy Hour with Riskalyze CEO Aaron Klein, Tue Nov 9, 5 PM: A fireside chat with Riskalyze CEO and co-founder Aaron Klein. Riskalyze is an Auburn-based fintech startup that provides software as a service to financial advisors in the U.S. They’ve. raised over $23 million in funding. Private equity firm Hg recently bought controlling interest in Riskalyze in a deal valued at over $300 million. Online.
Spark Venture Competition, Wed Nov 10, 6 PM: The Spark Venture Competition in Sacramento is an annual competition hosted by the Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Sac State for early-stage startups and social impact ventures during Global Entrepreneurship Week. 10 startups are competing for a total of $20,000 in cash awards Online.
Introduction to Angel Investing, Thu Nov 11, 5:30 PM: Learn how you can become an angel investor and how that can benefit local startups and the Greater Sacramento region economy. Online.
