Closing out March Madness is today’s announcement that the 2021 Kings Capitalize Competition is now accepting applications. In its 6th year, this crowdsourced startup competition will offer local entrepreneurs a chance to gain publicity, receive mentorship and secure funding for their business. The Grand prize is $10,000! Hustle up to submit your application — the deadline is April 5! Judges will select eight companies as semifinalists to advance to Pitch Day where a panel of entrepreneurs, executives and investors will evaluate their pitches and choose four companies to move on to the Finals. Fan votes will help decide who will receive the grand prize of $10,000. The winner will be crowned on May 9 while the Kings take on the Oklahoma City Thunder.
