In spite of everything that is dividing us as a nation right now, during our celebration this weekend of 244 years of independence from Great Britain, I hope you spend some time reflecting on what the USA could become if equity, diversity and inclusion are given the priority they deserve.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that ALL [people] are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Lean Innovator Bootcamp Series, 10-week series
The Lean Innovation Workshop Series uses Lean Startup Methods that get founders where they need to be: in front of customers from Day 1. Attend individual sessions or apply to join the cohort where you will receive more individual attention. The first session was last week but it’s not too late to join the cohort. Session 2 is this Tuesday, June 30.
NSF I-Corps Immersive Short Course
UC Davis Venture Catalyst is collaborating with the NSF I-Corps program to host their Immersive Short Course training for UCD and regional teams with technology innovations. Apply by July 3. Online sessions taking place on July 20, 22, & 27.
Cowo Campus Online Accelerator Application
Cowo Campus, in partnership with the SBDC Finance Center, is relaunching its accelerator to be completely online and open to all businesses. Apply by July 10. One candidate will be awarded $10,000.
FourthWave Women-Led Tech Startup Accelerator
FourthWave is open to technology companies with at least one female or female-identified founder. The accelerator dedicates an equal effort to leadership awareness and coaching, the development of sound startup business fundamentals and a preparedness for external funding. The application deadline has been extended to July 15. Cohort begins in August.
