The support for our startup and innovation community is about to be way better, real fast! Fifteen applicants for the RAILS (Rapid Acceleration, Innovation and Leadership in Sacramento) grant will receive a total of $970,000 in funding if the Sacramento City Council approves the recommendations this Tuesday night. Anyone is welcome to attend the council meeting to show support for the programs up for funding. Jeff Bennett and I, along with Rich Foreman, are hoping the council will bless our grant request for StartupSac.com. You can read about all the final applicants in this article by The Sacramento Bee and this one by the Sacramento Business Journal.
