Happy 2018! The beginning of the year is a great time to reflect on your goals — set some new ones, adjust some old ones, maybe even toss some tired ones out the window. If this is the year you want to get serious about launching your startup, the SBDC has a free workshop for you on Friday during lunchtime — Using Lean Methodology to Develop Your Business Model. Start your business (and your new year) off right!
Free Money! The California Competes Tax Credit is an income tax credit available to businesses who want to come, stay, or grow in California. There is $100 million in credits available for the current application period. You don’t need to be paying taxes yet — credits can be carried forward for up to 6 years. For more information about the California Competes Tax Credit program including an application guide and FAQs, click here, or attend one of the workshops being offered this week in Elk Grove or Sacramento.
