We are living in an experience economy. It’s no longer enough to simply build a product that solves a problem. The product must also be easy to use, easy to learn, and easy to love in order to gain traction in the current age of digital products.
At the StartupSac Office Hours workshop in June we welcomed Trailmerge Founder Mark Tegtmeier to provide an overview of user experience (UX) best practices and practical steps that founders can take to encourage customer-centered growth of their early stage startup. In his presentation, Mark covered:
- UX Basics, including what is User Experience Design
- Why startup founders should care about UX
- The UX Process
- Asking the right questions
- Feedback cycles
- Building a UX strategy
- And more
Following his presentation, Mark fielded questions from the attendees. It was an informative session and one a topic that every startup founder should be familiar with. Watch the video of the workshop.
