Watch or read some late last-century scifi and you’ll be amazed at how many technologies that were science fiction just a few decades ago are now science fact! A favorite one of mine is the Bable Fish from The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (1980). While we don’t actually insert tiny alien fish into our ears to translate a foreign language, real-time translation is now possible with smart phones apps.
