What happens when you take startup office hours and combine it with Mardi Gras? StartupSac Fat Tuesday Happy Hour.
Based on the positive interest from the inaugural event in January, StartupSac Happy Hour will return on Tuesday, February 28th (Fat Tuesday) with not one founder, but two Sacramento startup cofounders ready to answer your startup, innovation, and entrepreneurial questions. February’s guest startup veterans will be Gabe Gomez & Nick Trosko, cofounders of GymHit.

Gabe and Nick are recent alums of 500 Startups Batch 19 as well as Acceleprise and are well on their way to startup stardom (check out their individual bios below). During this informal event you’ll have the chance to get tips from Gabe and Nick about getting into a world-class accelerator like 500 startups, ask about the incredible network of founders and investors that they’ve developed in the Bay Area, key lessons they’ve learned about developing financials, investor pitch decks, MVPs, raising money, or whatever startup questions you may have.
The goal of StartupSac Happy Hour is to provide an opportunity for early-stage entrepreneurs to learn and gain insight & feedback from experienced entrepreneurs, as well as to provide a supportive, informal forum of encouragement and collaboration in the Sacramento startup community.
This event is free, no host happy hour. Our host for this event will be The Red Rabbit who is graciously providing the use of their back room for the event. No need to bring Mardi Gras beads, masks or elaborate costumes, just come out to Red Rabbit, head to the back, get yourself some food and drink from the bar and join the StartupSac community.

Gabriel Gomez
Gabriel is an accomplished sales and management executive with over 13 years’ experience in the fitness and software industries. Gabriel is currently President and CEO of GymHit Software, a proactive workflow management platform for the fitness industry. His previous positions include co-founder of Fitness Imagination, Inc. and Founder of Ten11 Consulting where he served various positions for sales, marketing, consulting, and business development. Gabriel attended California State University of Sacramento for Business Marketing. On his spare time he enjoys outdoor activities and coaching his daughters sports teams.

Nicholas Trosko
Nicholas is the co-founder and COO of GymHit Software, a proactive workflow management platform for the fitness industry. Prior to GymHit Software, Nicholas was the co-founder of Fitness Imagination, Inc. an outsourced personal training sales company that was in over 25 Health Clubs across the US. Before co-founding Fitness Imagination, Nicholas worked as a high level consultant with one of the leading software companies in the fitness industry. Nicholas attended George Mason University for Exercise Science and Nutrition. On his spare time he enjoys playing the guitar and taking his kids on weekend adventures.
