At May’s Startup Happy Hour we welcomed veteran startup founder, Joshua Tillman, CEO of Conquer, formerly known as DialSource. Joshua started Conquer in 2005 based on a UC Davis research project focusing on the modernization of telephony technology.
As a native application for both Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics 365, Conquer works inside CRM making sales and service teams more effective at gaining access, growing pipeline, winning revenue, and strengthening customer relationships.
Fresh off a recent rebrand and product launch, Conquer has expanded its offerings from its core enterprise voice technology to support a complete omni-channel approach for teams engaging with customers and prospects across voice, email, SMS, and social channels such as LinkedIn.
During the interview we learned about the origins of the startup while Joshua was a student at UC Davis, how Joshua has built a team that has contributed to success, always being ready to adjust and pivot to market demands, rebranding, funding through sales which attracts investors, establishing the company’s culture and values, adjusting to Covid, and more.
