Are you a game developer? There’s an interesting workshop at Hacker Lab on Friday on Visual Novel and Independent Game Production.
Are you a data whiz/hacker? Take a trip to to Silicon Valley and participate in NGA’s Expedition Hackathon this weekend.

The Agtech event of the year is coming to Woodland on Saturday August 20. Dinner and Drones promises to fabulous! Who doesn’t enjoy a drone race?
Plan a Trip
Techcrunch Disrupt is happening in SF September 12-14. Early bird tickets will save you $1000 but you need to snap them up before August 12. If you’re a startup with some traction, consider exhibiting — this is one of the biggest startup events of the year in the U.S. and the place will be crawling with investors. And there’s a free hackthon (developers only) happening Sep 10-11.
And yet another hackathon! Billed as the hackathon for hackers by hackers, /hack is happening in SF August 27-28.
