Whether they’re ready to get in front of investors or not, the song remains the same, “if we can only get someone to invest in us, we’ll be huge!” Here in Sacramento that phrase is often followed by lamenting that we don’t have the number of investors here that there are 90 minutes to the west. Since we interact with hundreds of local startups each year we hear these common lamentations a lot.
