The Student Union at Sacramento State was the place to be this morning as Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson announced that Parrable, a San Francisco tech company, will be expanding to Sacramento. Parrable is a third-party identification platform solving critical mobile identification issues.
After the announcement from Mayor Johnson, Carla Holtze, CEO and Co-founder of Parrable, then spoke about her decision to expand to Sacramento, citing lower cost of living, access to engineering tech talent, quality of life, and proximity to the Bay Area as key drivers in the decision.
I attempted to livestream the announcement via Periscope. The quality is very poor but you can catch the all of the remarks from Mayor Johnson and Carla Holtze in the Periscope replay or you can catch the video stream captured by GSAEC below it.
