As part of an ongoing series of interviews with Sacramento founders, I sat down with John Parilo, President & Co-Founder of wimZr, this past weekend while we were both hanging out at Startup Weekend where he was graciously donating his time to mentor participants. wimZr, which was the official app of this Startup Weekend Sacramento event, is a mobile application connecting people with social connections and the most up-to-date information before, during, and after any event or at travel destination around the world. Following is an interview with John where he shares his journey, some lessons-learned along the way, thoughts on entrepreneurship, and the Sacramento startup community.
