“It starts with us. We gotta connect the fabric of our community…”
It was another great turnout at The Hacker Lab last night for Sacramento Startup Expo. Dozens of Sacramento area entrepreneurs came out to network, share libations, and hear pitches from local real estate related startups. After several initial short pitches from several early stage startups, host and organizer Bryan Barton brought on the main event – founder Elizabeth Dodson of Homezada and DJ Stephan of Skyslope. For me, the highlight of the evening was DJ’s reponse to Bryan’s question about what the Sacramento startup community needs. Check out DJ’s response in the video below.
There was a lot of other great activity throughout the evening and much of it was capture by our live-tweeting pros, Laura Good and Rich Foreman.
