The company was founded in 2008 by brothers Ken and Tim Ouimet, who worked for their parent's business, Comparative Prices International. Ken served on the Board of Directors of Revionics between 2007-2011 and as Chief Scientist & VP of Innovations at SAP AG between 2006-2007. He created his first company, Khimetrics, a price optimization company in 1996. Khimetrics was bought by SAP in 2006, and two years later, Engage3 was founded. The company's first product, MissionControl was developed and released in 2015.
Engage3's most widely distributed product, MissionControl, is a cloud-enabled dashboard that provides a platform for competitive price shop management. MissionControl has features for planning, scheduling, executing, reporting, and analyzing online and in-store competitive data collection. The dashboard focuses on the speed, accuracy and coverage of price collection. The program also includes a management dashboard for defining and assigning pricing missions to store associates or 3rd party vendors. The Missions mobile app is the smartphone-compatible version of MissionControl.
