Last week, the Sacramento Innovation Awards selection committee announced the finalists for this year’s awards. What a great line up of innovative companies! I was on the Software category selection committee and it was hard to narrow down nominees to just 3 finalists. If you haven’t checked out the list yet, you can view it here. The winners will be announced at a celebratory luncheon on November 4.
Freebie of the Week
Will you make it out to the Rocklin Mini Maker Faire on Saturday at Sierra College? This is the second annual event. It’s family friendly and FREE! It runs from 10-5. I went with a group aged 8-78 last year and we all had a blast. When you go, be sure to check out Hacker Lab Pavilion and also the SacVR exhibit.
