Join Code for Sacramento on International Open Data Day and volunteer your skills to find, clean, save, share, upload, analyze, and visualize government data!

On Open Data Day, Saturday, March 4, groups all over the world create local events where community members can come together to use open data to solve community and civic issues, show the benefits of open data, and encourage the adoption of open data policies in government, business and civil society.

Here in Sacramento the organizers at Code for Sacramento, a Code for America Brigade, will be hosting Open Data Day at Hacker Lab, 1715 I Street, Sacramento, in midtown. All skill sets welcome, including but not limited to programmers, designers, data analysts, policy wonks, concerned citizens, and everyone else!
