About the UC Davis Extension Coding Boot Camp
The objectives of the course are to give students the knowledge and skills to build dynamic end-to-end web applications and become a full stack web developer. The course curriculum guide can be found here with more details on the final project. UC Davis Extension has partnered with Trilogy Education Services, a workforce accelerator who works with universities to help companies bridge the digital skills gap, to offer this program.
This event is designed to give students the opportunity to practice talking about their new skill set with experienced local professionals. Students are set up around the room to present one of the projects they worked on during the program. Alumni and professionals are welcomed to ask questions and provide mentoring advice. It is a fun, low pressure event where companies have also found a new pipeline for talent. Many of the students are interested in becoming entrepreneurs or working with start ups.
