Was one of your resolutions to get healthier this year? Did you consider your mental health in that resolution? As we approach the third year of the pandemic, more people than ever are experiencing stress, anxiety and depression. As if the pandemic wasn’t enough of a strain, did you know that 72% of entrepreneurs are affected by mental health issues compared to just 48% of non-entrepreneurs? This statistic may shock you but there are ways you can overcome this tendancy through therapy, counseling, meditation, and other methods.
Here’s one such option: California Capital’s Women’s Business Center is offering a free eight-part series, Preparing for the Harvest, designed to provide entrepreneurs with tools to manage their mental health. It starts on Friday, January 21 at 10 AM and is led by Asia Hilario, a certified Life Coach and successful mental health blogger and podcaster. As someone who committed to personal growth and mental health through three intense years of therapy nearly two decades ago, I emphatically recommend you consider enrolling in this FREE series. It may be limited in the number of attendees (I’m not sure) so don’t wait to register if you want to participate. You can learn more about Asia, the instructor, here.
