Sixteen regional startups got their chance to pitch to a panel of judges and dozens of Sacramento startup scene players yesterday in the Kings Capitalize 2017 Semifinals at the Assembly Club of the Golden 1 Center. Each team had a five minute time limit to present their startup pitch, after which the panel of judges asked follow-up questions.
The range of startups presenting was impressive and covered a broad set of industries including apps, agtech, cleantech, biotech, and medtech. The judges no doubt had a difficult time deliberating and selecting the final four teams that will move on to the finals where Kings fans will have a chance to make their voice heard and help determine the winner by voting for their favorite finalist.
