In a field of over 50 startups, JAPA, a parking technology startup, won the Sacramento Regional Startup World Cup in August. From there, they competed in the Startup World Cup Semi-Finals n San Francisco where they competed against 100 startups that advanced from their respective regions. JAPA made the finalist list which consisted of the top 10 startups in the competition. The final was held in San Francisco on Septmber 30.

…and winner of the Startup World Cup 2022 Grand Finale is Sheertex from Canada. They make “impossibly strong tights.”
On an editorial note, we at StartupSac are very proud of the entire JAPA team! By making the Startup World Cup, JAPA beat out literally hundreds of startups from around the globe. There were 13 U.S. teams in the semi-finals and only two of them, including JAPA, made the finals. JAPA made our Sacramento Region proud!
