Did you celebrate Pi Day last week? For those of you who missed it, you can make up for it this week! Slicing Pie, a workshop on dividing equity up between cofounders, is happening twice this week! The longer session on Tuesday night at InnoGrove in Elk Grove will include an interactive game where you’ll test out the principles you’ve learned. You’ll also have ample time to ask questions and get to know the presenter, author Mike Moyer. Mike teaches Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University and the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. The Wednesday morning session follows 1 Million Cups at Impact VC in Sacramento and is a short, 1 hour presentation. If you are a cofounder or thinking about being a cofounder, you would be CRAZY not to take advantage of one of these free opportunities!
Fan Voting for Kings Capitalize started last week and ends during the 2nd quarter of Wednesday night’s special Tech Night Game. The winner will be announced from center court during the 4th quarter and receives a fat $10,000 check and the opportunity to have lunch with a Kings owner. Tickets to the game are available for as little as $15! Watch all four company videos by visiting Kings.com/Capitalize and clicking on the logo of each of the finalists. Fans can vote for their favorite by tweeting the name of the company along with the #KingsCapitalize.
