Let’s solve climate change faster, together! Come to The City of Sacramento’s Sacramento Civic Innovation Challenge Launch Event
You are invited to participate in the launch event for the Sacramento Civic Innovation Challenge! Join the Sacramento Urban Technology Lab as they launch a co-creation process to increase Sacramento’s civic innovation capacity and accelerate progress toward the region’s climate goals. By supporting the work of the Mayors’ Commission on Climate Change, the Sacramento Civic Innovation Challenge will engage residents, experts, stakeholders, and technologists in a co-creation process to source and prioritize challenges that can be addressed through the application of data, technology, and user experience design.
To start, this discussion with a focus on Healthy Air for All as a comprehensive response to the four topic areas of
- equity & access
- resilience
- mobility
- built environment
WHO should attend?
- Subject matter experts in public health, climate change, community development, and mobility
- Residents, advocates, and policymakers interested in environmental justice and healthy communities
