At StartupSac’s Happy Hour event in June we again teamed up with the Carlsen Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Sac State, as well as FourthWave, an accelerator for high potential, women-led technology businesses. It was an engaging discussion about the FourthWave accelerator program which is launching its next cohort in the coming few months.
The discussion was led by FourthWave co-founder Cheryl Beninga and featured veteran entrepreneur, Emtrain founder and CEO Janine Yancey, who participated in the first FourthWave cohort, as well as DiverseCity Ventures Founding Partner Mariah Lichtenstern, a mentor in the FourthWave program.
