If you are an entrepreneur in Sacramento’s creative economy, the CLTRE: EveryDay Creative program is an opportunity you will not want to miss. The next round of the program just opened, and applications are officially live.

Organized by CLTRE in partnership with Creative Startups and the City of Sacramento Office of Arts and Culture, this intensive six week course is designed for early stage entrepreneurs who want to refine their business idea, strengthen their pitch, and connect with potential investors and partners.

What You Will Gain

Participants will receive:

Who Should Apply

This program is built for a wide range of creative professionals and businesses, including:
Advertising specialists, animators, architects, art directors, content creators, copywriters, creative directors, digital marketing specialists, event planners, fashion designers, film and video editors, game developers, graphic designers, illustrators, interior designers, musicians, photographers, poets, product-based companies, public relations specialists, service-based companies, social media managers, web developers, and companies working on neighborhood innovation.

Program Dates

  • Applications Close: September 15 at 11 PM

  • In-Person Kickoff: October 16 and 17

  • Cohort Meetings: October 21 through November 18, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM (online)

  • In-Person Deep Dive: November 20 and 21

  • Pitch Night and Graduation: November 21

Cost and Financial Support

The fee is $95 per person for the six week course. You can pay in full or through a payment plan once you are accepted into the program. Payment is not required to apply.

If you cannot afford the fee, you may submit a recommendation letter from a community leader such as a Mayor, Pastor, Professor, Mentor, or other supporter who believes in your work.
