Congratulations to the 32 startups who were selected for the next round of Capitalize (over 80 startups applied)! The finalists will be competing tomorrow in an invite-only Pitch contest. The final four companies will pitch to Kings fans at Sleep Train Arena during the April 5 game against the Portland Trailblazers. Kings fans will choose the top pitch via Twitter. The top pick wins $5,000, consulting sessions and lunch with Kings executives and team owner Vivek Ranadivé. There are still tickets available for the game — come on out and support our tech community!
It’s a light week for Startup focused events but your best bet is Beer & Geeks at the Red Rabbit this Thursday. It’s a free no-host event — come on out, buy yourself a drink and get to know other tech enthusiasts in the region.
If you’ve been wondering what coworking is all about, you can “test-drive” it at Hacker Lab Wednesday morning and InnoGrove Wednesday afternoon. Just stop in during the posted hours and get a taste of the coworking life.
