Startup Folsom and StartupSac Introduce Monthly Startup Pitch Workshops for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
Startup Folsom and StartupSac are excited to introduce a new monthly pitch workshop for startups. At this virtual event, you’ll have the chance to present a 5-minute startup pitch to seasoned pitch coaches and receive valuable feedback. If you wow the coaches, they may invite you to pitch toa curated group of angel investors at a monthly event hosted by Choose Folsom.
These workshops will take place virtually on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm. Participants will have exactly 5 minutes to pitch, so be sure to practice beforehand. Following the pitch, there will be a 10-minute feedback session with our pitch coaches. All sessions will be recorded, allowing participants to review their pitches and the coach feedback.
We can only accommodate 3 startup pitches per workshop. If you’re not selected for a specific month, you’re welcome to reapply for future workshops. While we’ve received entries from around the globe, our primary focus is supporting startups located in the Greater Sacramento region. They will be be given priority.
Our esteemed pitch coaches include Josh David Miller (JDM), Founder of The Right Box, Brook VanSant, Associate at Moneta Ventures, and a third guest coach.

Want to be considered as one of the five companies who will pitch? Apply here. If you are selected to participate, you will be notified via email. Don’t worry if you don’t make the cut this month; simply reapply for the next workshop, as we host them monthly.

Register to Observe
The virtual event is open to the public to attend. Even if you aren’t pitching, you can learn a lot by observing the pitches and listening to the feedback from the coaches.
