***Meet the speaker:***
Samira Shaikh, Ph.D., is the Director Lead for Data Science in the AI and Advanced Analytics team at Ally Financial. She leads a team of data scientists, working on delivering optimal solutions to AI use cases, including Generative AI. Samira is a Tenured Professor of Computer Science with a deep background in AI and Natural Language Processing. As part of her career journey, she has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and led several large-scale projects funded by the Department of Defense agencies in AI and NLP.
