Derek Chase is the CEO of OnSight Technology, where he leads a team developing autonomous and tele-operated Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) with advanced imaging and AI capabilities for utility solar farms, aiming to deliver high-quality data at the lowest cost while reducing environmental and safety risks. With over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, Derek also co-chairs the SEIA O&M Committee, collaborating with industry leaders to establish best practices for solar operations and maintenance. Additionally, he is a member of the YPO Pacific Chapter, a network of young and influential CEOs committed to positive global impact.

OnSight Technology specializes in autonomous and tele-operated Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) equipped with radiometric thermal imaging and optical zoom cameras. Utilizing AI visual learning, these UGVs detect, report, and observe issues and anomalies on utility solar farms.
