This speaker was stranded in Thailand during covid.
There he met a guy who knew a guy that introduced him to the dark underbelly of shady ICO’s.
He will tell the group about the wild stories involving yachts, scammers and criminals that dominated the nefarious side of cryptocurrency.
Usually our meetups talk about the optimistic wonderful side of how cryptocurrency can improve the plight of humanity…
but not today.
Today will learn about how scams worked and how we can work as a community to make sure that people are protected in the future.

We meet every 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at Capsity coworking space in Sacramento. We discuss Bitcoin, crypto, the blockchain, NFTs, and often eat pizza. Our group is pretty advanced but n00bz are always welcome.
