November 12 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Join us on Nov. 12th for an information session to learn more about DMEA and the pre-release of SBIR/STTR topics!

Join us on Nov. 12th for a program overview to learn more about The Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA) is a Department of Defense (DoD) Laboratory located in Sacramento, CA, operating under the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment (ASD(A&S)). DMEA is the DoD’s leading authority on microelectronics and executes its mission to provide vital parts and services in innovative ways to meet the needs of the DoD and enable the Warfighter.

DMEA participates in the Small Business Administration’s (SBA) Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs which are highly competitive programs that encourage domestic small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) with the potential for commercialization. Through a competitive awards-based program, SBIR and STTR enable small businesses to explore their technological potential and provide the incentive to profit from its commercialization. DMEA topics are prioritized with a preference to topics that lead to microelectronics manufacturing opportunities and solutions at DMEA, commercialization, and that grow the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).

DMEA will be pre-releasing SBIR and STTR topics under the DoD SBIR 25.4 and STTR 25.D Annual BAAs, Release 2, on November 6, 2024. Small businesses innovators interested in learning more about DMEA’s SBIR/STTR Program and its latest topics are encouraged to attend this workshop. DMEA SBIR and STTR topics may be previewed beginning November 6 at: https://www.dodsbirsttr.mil/topics-app/ (filter by DMEA).
