Orville Thomas serves as the CEO of the California Mobility Center. In his role, he connects private businesses, government, and California communities to create, manufacture, and maintain clean energy, power, and zero-emission technologies. Prior to the CMC, Orville served as the State Policy Director for CALSTART, Government Relations Director for Lion Electric, and Government Affairs Director for the California Immigrant Policy Center. Orville was a spokesperson for California’s high-speed rail project while working for the administration of Governor Jerry Brown and has led public affairs for the California Department of Public Health. He has a Master of Public Policy degree from UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Policy and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and TV Communication from San Francisco State University.
