This event brings together community partners like SMUD and the Community Resource Project (CRP) to provide valuable information on energy assistance programs, energy-saving upgrades, and more.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • SMUD Energy Assistance Program Rate (EAPR): SMUD will be onsite to discuss ways to reduce your energy bills through their EAPR program and other supportive services.
  • Indoor Air Quality Monitoring Program by CRP: High school students can learn about the Indoor Air Quality Monitoring Program, where participants receive an $85 stipend, earn 20 community service hours, and gain practical experience with air quality monitoring technology.
  • Free Energy-Efficient Appliance Program: Discover options to upgrade your home’s appliances to more energy-efficient models at no cost.
  • Tips to Lower Your Energy Bill: Gain insights on everyday practices and upgrades that can make your home more energy-efficient, helping you save money in the long run.
  • Job Training Opportunities: Looking to start a career in clean energy? CRP offers free training programs in:
    • Electrical Fundamentals
    • HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) Basics
    • Solar System Basics & Panel Installation
    • EV Charger Installation & Maintenance
