In an effort to learn more about how women in the Sacramento region co-work, convene, and collaborate, in addition to learn more about what they need, want (or would want) in collaborative environments, the Dress for Success Sacramento team is asking you to take a survey! They are targeting women entrepreneurs and professionals – from college graduates, CEO’s, educators, and elected officials.
Why are they focused on women? According to the Center for Women’s Business Research, “women-owned firms have an economic impact of $3 trillion that translates into the creation and/or maintenance of 23 million jobs, 16 percent of all U.S. jobs. These jobs not only sustain the individual worker, but contribute to the economic security of their families, the economic vitality of their communities and the nation.”
While women and female founders are continuing to create businesses at a rapid pace, there remain gaps in resources available to support their growth. This of course includes the ability to access funding, but equally important is mentorship, networking, and quality workspace options. The results of this survey will be used specifically to help inform decisions around collaboration in the Sacramento region.
This survey is not exclusively for women entrepreneurs considering that ALL professional women collaborate and convene in some or another.
Dress for Success Sacramento thanks you for your participation in this survey. Please pass it along, and remember to enter your email address to be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card.
